LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. (WDEF) – Those looking for great BBQ and a friendly competition can take a visit up to Ruby Falls for the 11th Annual Battle Below the Clouds.
The Friendliest BBQ Competition in the South is back on April 25 running from 10 AM – 4:30 PM at the Ruby Falls parking lot that overlooks Chattanooga’s beautiful landscape. A total of 15 local teams will be competing, some are returning for the trophy, and some are hitting the grill for the first time.
The event benefits the Lana’s Love Foundation which creates events for families that have been stricken with pediatric cancer.
The event is completely free, though donations for Lana’s Love Foundation is greatly encouraged. The event will have live bluegrass music, kid activities, food trucks, and plenty of BBQ!
