CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Coolidge Park was transformed Saturday into a medieval-inspired gathering place as Chattanooga hosted its first-ever Renaissance Faire along the Tennessee Riverfront.
From 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the North Shore became a bustling festival grounds filled with music, performance, and artisan craft along the riverfront.
The event followed a Renaissance-themed Night Market on Frazier Avenue that drew strong community interest and helped inspire the larger celebration.
Throughout the day, two performance stages carried music, entertainment, and demonstrations, while artisans showcased handcrafted goods and live craftwork across the grounds.
Roaming performers moved through the crowd as guests joined in costume contests, interactive activities, and pop-up performances spread throughout Coolidge Park.
Food vendors added to the atmosphere with themed offerings, creating a festival setting where performance, craft, and community blended together along the riverfront.
A King and Queen Feast offered ticket holders a catered meal accompanied by live entertainment and a staged combat performance.
Performers included Pixie Peculiar, Jenergy Art, ACW Iron Swan, Besti Vatis, Jelley the Fairy, Choo Choo Forge, Ambush Improv, Song&String, Chattanooga Event Entertainment, The Buckle and Bits Show, BattleKat Combat, Vespa the Bug Fae, Happinest Raptors, Crystalline Creative, Tanasi Fusion, Mermaid Illyria, and others.
As the day drew to a close, Saturday marked the first Renaissance Faire ever held in Chattanooga, adding a new festival to the Tennessee Riverfront.
