WHITFIELD COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – On Sunday around 1 p.m., the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office was on scene around Yorktown Way off of Dawnville Road due to an active investigation.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a domestic dispute.
During the dispute, a male subject who lives in the home pulled out a firearm.
All other residents were evacuated from the home, with the male barricading himself inside.
Shortly after obtaining a search and arrest warrant, the subject was taken into custody.
No injuries were reported.
