RINGGOLD, GA. (WDEF) – Republican Congressman Mike Collins has kicked off the
“Big Rig Roadshow”, a statewide campaign tour ahead of Georgia’s Republican primary.
The tour opened in Ringgold at Farm to Fork, where Collins held a breakfast event and met one on one with voters.
During the stop, the congressman spoke directly with attendees in an informal setting, taking questions and hearing concerns as part of constituent outreach on the campaign trail.
Supporter Clay Fuller attended the event and said Collins helps mentor him in many ways.
Collins represents Georgia’s 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was first elected in 2022 and is currently serving in Congress.
Before his time in Washington, he and his wife co-founded a trucking business, a background he has frequently referenced in describing his professional experience prior to elected office.
He is the son of former Congressman Mac Collins, who also represented Georgia in the U.S. House.
Collins is encouraging voters across the state to participate in the upcoming Republican primary as he continues his campaign schedule.
