Police chase ends with juvenile arrested for stealing car

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office helped Collegedale Police stop a juvenile who stole a car on Wednesday.
Wednesday evening, deputies helped in the pursuit of the car, which was reported stolen earlier in the day in the City of Chattanooga.
The pursuit started on Little Debbie Parkway. Hamilton County deputies joined the pursuit on Old Lee Highway. The police chase went down I-75 and Bonny Oaks and finally ended on Bellview Avenue.
HCSO deputies performed a PIT maneuver to stop the stolen car.
After stopping, the suspect driver got out and ran. Authorities chased them for a short time and got them into custody on Aspen Lane.
Since the suspect was a juvenile, authorities booked the suspect into the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.
Collegedale Police charged the suspect with felony evading, felony reckless endangerment and possession of a stolen vehicle.
The suspect has not been identified due to them being a juvenile.
