HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – On Friday, around 9:30 P.M. Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Deputies responded to the 8700 block of Hurricane Manor Trail regarding a report of a pedestrian struck.
According to HCSO, the driver, Linda Cobble, has an active warrant for disorderly conduct from a prior, similar incident.
They say witnesses told them that a large group had gathered for an Independence Day celebration and that a vehicle had travelled down their street at a high rate of speed.
When confronted, Cobble fled the scene where she then struck three individuals at a low rate of speed.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
Deputies went to Cobble’s residence, where she was arrested and transported to Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center.
She has been charged with the following:
- Aggravated Assault (x3)
- Reckless Endangerment (x3)
