CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) -Firefighters with the Chattanooga Fire Department were on their way back to the station after putting out a house fire, when they got a call about a car crash.
It happened at Union Avenue and South Lyerly Street, according to a press release.
Firefighters found a woman and children trapped inside an SUV that had recently wrecked and was overturned.
First responders broke the windshield of the SUV so the victims could escape, making sure that nobody was hurt from broken glass at the scene.
Reports say the woman and children suffered minor injuries. The circumstances of the crash are under investigation by the Chattanooga Police.
