When asked to describe herself, Mrs. Morgan says, “I have been teaching for 16 years. This is my fifth year at Graysville. I went to school as a child, and I always wanted to teach here. This is the most special place. We love it here. My kiddos go here. I have two children. One attends here and one is in middle school. I’m married… and I’ve been married for 12 years. I always wanted to be a teacher at an early age. I taught at a daycare when I was in high school and then going through college. I always worked at the daycare and so going to education program. I just knew that I wanted to be a teacher.

Ryann Peterso is a Kindergarten Teacher at Graysville Elementary School.
She says, ” This is my first year getting to work with Miss Morgan, and I have loved every second of it. She’s been getting home. She has taught me all these days, so I’ve just enjoyed working with her.”
Mrs. Morgan concludes,” I love to see all the kids. I am in the classroom and I co-teach. which means I am serving kiddos that have special needs. but I don’t just go into the classroom only working with kiddos with special needs. I go in to help and assist the teacher with all of the kids, and so I get to build a relationship with so many kids around our building. I am the oldest of six and two of my brothers are on the spectrum, and I have autism also in my extended family. and I wanted to know more about it. I wanted to just better serve the community that way. I get to see so much growth from August to May. It’s incredible. I’m in kindergarten this year for the majority of my day. and kindergartners come in and you have to teach them a lot more than just academics. and you get to see just so much growth not just an academic spending their behavior and their social skills and it’s just really fun to watch. I hope that they remember that I love them and that I’m excited when they grow. I hope that they look back and say this morning was just a fun teacher and she loved as well.”
