DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) — During the night of October 1st, the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) responded to a call at the Dollar General on Beaverdale Road about a female covered in blood.
When deputies arrived, they found Requiya Kierra Reynolds covered in blood as stated.
She then told first responder personnel that she had stabbed a man down the road at 2215 Dawnville Beaverdale Road.
The deputies responded to the residence and found a man with stab wounds, lying deceased on the floor of the living room.
Requiya has since been transported the WCSO, and has been charged with murder.
She is being held without bond currently.
WCSO detectives and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are conducting the investigation.
