HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A Dallas Bay Fire & Rescue engine was involved in an accident while responding to a structure fire.
According to Dallas Bay Fire & Rescue, the driver of the engine had to take evasive action to avoid a vehicle that crossed the center lines.
When the engine driver did so, the driver avoided a head-on collision, but left the roadway, striking a culvert.
Fortunately, the accident results in only minor injuries, and no firefighter needed transportation for medical care.
Dallas Bay Fire & Rescue along with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) will be conducting an investigation regarding the incident.
