HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) assisted in an investigation into child exploitation that led to an arrest.
Authorities were investigating a Uriel Guerra Lopez.
Lopez was allegedly speaking to, and sending sexually explicit videos and images to a victim who was 12-years-old.
He was attempting to entice the victim into producing child sexual abuse material for him.
The HCSO worked alongside the FBI and Sioux Falls South Dakota Police Department in an attempt to locate Lopez.
The HCSO says he was later found and arrested in South Dakota.
Lopez is being charged with the following:
- Sexual Exploitation of a Minor by Electronic Means (Solicitation)
- Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor (Production)
- Unlawful Exposure
He is currently being held in the Minnehaha County Jail in South Dakota, waiting to be extradited back to Hamilton County.
