SEQUATCHIE COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A Sequatchie County teacher has been arrested after physically assaulting a student.
On August 19, 2025, deputies with the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) were made aware of a student who was assaulted at Griffith Elementary School.
The SCSO said upon further investigation, it was determined that teacher Holly Condra physically assaulted a student with her hand.
No reports indicated the student required medical attention.
After conducting interviews and gathering video surveillance footage, a warrant was obtained charging Condra with Assault.
According to the SCSO, Condra met investigators at the Sequatchie County Justice Center on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
Condra was booked on the charge of Assault and released under a $2,500 bond.
