HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — There will be a political contest next year in the Collegedale and Ooltewah county elections.
Collegedale vice Mayor Tonya Sadler says she is running for the Hamilton County Commission seat in District 10.
That’s the seat currently held by Jeff Eversole.
And he says he plans to defend it.
The two will face off in the Republican Primary next May.
Both Sadler and Eversole were elected to their positions in 2022.
Sadler has since been named vice mayor of Collegedale while Eversole is currently the chair of the County Commission.
