LYERLY, Georgia (WDEF) – Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents have arrested a Chattooga County woman on multiple sex charges.
32 year old Lillian Hughes faces charges of Sexual Exploitation of Children and Bestiality.
They were tipped by local investigators that she may be distributing child sexual abuse material online.
The searched her home this week and made the arrest.
The investigation was part of a federal internet task force.
” The ICAC Program, created by the US Department of Justice, was developed in response to the increasing number of children and teenagers using the internet, the proliferation of child sexual abuse material, and the heightened online activity by predators searching for unsupervised contact with underage victims.”
