CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) awards show in Chattanooga this fall has gotten some star power.
Actor, comedian and banjo player Steve Martin will host the Awards show at Memorial Auditorium in September.
While Martin is far better known for his movies and stand up career, he also has done well in the Bluegrass field.
In fact, he is up for some awards that night with his co-host Alison Brown.
They are releasing a duo album in October.
The IBMA is moving their annual conference and awards show to Chattanooga this fall.
