DALTON — A home has suffered damage following a house fire on Whitener Drive in Dalton.
Just before 2 a.m., firefighters responded to a one story house with fire on the outside of the home, which extended into the living space and the attic, according to the Dalton Fire Department.
All occupants were evacuated and there were no injuries reported.
Heat and water damage was reported throughout the structure and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Damages are approximated at $50,000.
