CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Chattanooga State Community College has selected Dr. Karen Eastman its new Vice President of Academic Affairs.
Dr. Eastman joined ChattState in 2003 as an adjunct faculty member before becoming a full-time Anatomy and Physiology instructor in 2004, according to ChattState.
For the past eight months, Dr. Eastman’s work as interim Vice President has included leading academic planning and collaboration across the College.
ChattState says in that role, she helped develop the Blue Horizon corporate training partnership, expanding workforce development opportunities for students and employers in the region.
