CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – On Saturday at 6:50 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) responded to a report of a pedestrian struck at 5321 Brainerd Road with critical injuries.
According to the CPD, the pedestrian was standing in the middle of the two-way turn lane at 5300 Brainerd Rd. when a vehicle entered the turn lane and struck the pedestrian.
Police say the suspect vehicle left the scene and is described as a white Chevy Colorado truck.
The 55-year-old male victim was transported by Hamilton County EMS from the scene to the hospital, where he is currently listed as critical but stable.
