CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Finley Stadium has announced some new amenities for fans.
Erlanger is sponsoring a calming room, nursing room, and first aid station in the south concourse of the stadium.
The calming room is designed to allow a space for those with unruly children or people with sensory issues a soothing space to relax if overwhelmed at a game.
These spaces were opened up as the stadium experience changes to a digital and cashless experience.
The stadium’s executive director, Brian Wright, said, “When you’re dealing with an existing stadium, you have to have your walls and rooms to work with. So we were able to identify an old money counting safe room that had turned into a junk room and a ticket booth that was underutilized to revision them for these challenges and they are things that keep Finley Stadium relevant.”
These spaces will be open up for this weekend’s Bluecross Bowl games.
