CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – If you are looking for something fun to do after the holiday season, the Lookout Wild Film Festival has released its 2026 trailer and tickets are now on sale.
The four-day festival returns for its fourteenth year from January fifteenth through the eighteenth at the Roland W. Hayes Concert Hall inside the UTC Fine Arts Center in downtown Chattanooga.
Over seven film sessions, audiences can experience one hundred adventure, environmental, and outdoor films from all around the world.
The festival continues to highlight stories that go beyond adrenaline and scenery, offering deeper looks into human resilience and connection.
Festival Director Steve Rogers says the event is known for showcasing stories that reach far past the sport itself.
“More than likely, we are going to have a climbing film that involves a blind climber or a one leg climber or someone who has dealt with PTSD or abuse issues,” Rogers says. “We kind of step back past just the sport itself to try and tell stories.”
The festival team says this year’s lineup is expected to bring the same blend of adventure, emotion, and inspiration that keeps audiences coming back.
