CHATTANOOGA/CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – Both Chattanooga and Cleveland are gathering around the table on Thursday for community Thanksgiving meals.
Chattanooga is celebrating the 10th year for their Gratefull meal (spelled with 2 “l’s to guarantee you will be full).
The meal is from 11:30-1:30 in the 200 block of East Martin Luther King Boulevard.
They will have one long table for everyone and it’s free.
However, they do encourage donations for The Maclellan Shelter for Families. Needed items include nonperishable food, coffee supplies, disposable plates and silverware, toothpaste, diapers, and laundry supplies. Collection bins will be available onsite.
Dalton will have their Gratefull meal on November 24th in Burr Park from 11:30-1:30.
In Cleveland, the Blythe Oldfield Community Association (BOCA) will hold their annual Thanksgiving One Table meal on Thursday.
They provide the chicken and ham and hope you’ll bring a side dish or dessert for everyone to enjoy.
The meal is at 6pm.
