HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF)- A summer concert series may be coming to Chester Frost Park.
The proposal went in front of the Hamilton County Commission.
The series would be called “Lakesite Live”, and it would be a free concert for park visitors.
It would be funded by a grant from the Riverview Foundation, and allow a chance for local students interested in the music industry to help work on these concerts through Dynamo Studios.
That organization gives students the chance to work with artists from across the country.
Kessler Cuffman, the Executive Director of Dynamo Studios, said, “This program we are working on with the county itself is a prime example of how they’re going to be able to apply what they’ve learned in the public sector while also showcasing our public parks.”
The Hamilton County Commission will vote on this proposal next week.
