CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Children’s Nutrition Program of Haiti, CNP Haiti, is working toward breaking the cycle of malnutrition in children in Haiti.
The non-profit was born from communities in Chattanooga looking to provide a more sustainable program for the families of Haiti. Their work focuses on saving lives of children and their mothers through clinical care, health promotion, growth monitoring, and community mobilization.
The skilled staff has resulted in remarkable results in 2024. Nearly 1,200 children were fully rehabilitated from the brink of death thanks to the organization. Over 15,00 home visits and follow ups were carried out to ensure the people of Haiti received proper care. And nearly 7,000 women received essential reproductive care to provide better control over their health and future.
