CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Fire Department (CFD) swiftly extinguished a blaze at a residence on the 600 block of Watts Avenue this morning.
CFD responded to a report just after 11 a.m., finding a column of smoke as they approached.
Upon arriving, heavy fire was spotted coming from the porch and dark smoke pouring out of the attic.
The fire was quickly brought under control.
No one was home at the time, but one dog was severely injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
