CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The leaves will soon start falling which means new seasonal events are blowing in at the Chattanooga Zoo!
“Homeschool Days” is back on September 5 and 12 which gives families and their homeschoolers the reduced field trip rate for zoo admission. There will be special education activities and experiences for students to enjoy.
While school just started, it isn’t too late to start planning for fall break. “Fall Break Camp” at the zoo runs from October 13 through 17. During the camp, children will get to have a full week of animal experiences, science experiences, and plenty more. Registration is now open!
It’ll be Halloween before we know it which marks the return of “Boo in the Zoo” and “Frights & Pints.”
Boo in the Zoo will be on October 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, & 31. The kid friendly event will feature plenty of spooky-yet-not-spooky decorations, candy, and meet & greets with favorite characters.
For the adults that want to release their inner child, “Frights & Pints” return on October 23 with a DJ, costume contest, and beer.
