CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) has made an arrest in connection to a Brainerd Road homicide.
On August 17, 2025, at 4:02 a.m. CPD officers responded to the 3200 block of Brainerd Road on reports of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers located a 29-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Hamilton County EMS transported to the victim to a nearby hospital where he later died.
According to the CPD, the suspect approached the victim, shot him, and then fled the area on foot.
CPD investigators believe the incident was targeted.
On August 28, 2025, the CPD released information that they have charged a suspect in connection with this homicide.
Alex Juwan Stallion is being charged with First Degree Murder, and is currently in custody at the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center.
