DALTON, Georgia (WDEF)– The Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union opened a new facility in Dalton on Friday, the 22nd of August.
The TVFCU held a ribbon cutting at the new location on Vista Drive.
This is the second credit union branch in Whitfield County.
City leaders, business owners, and even a local High School Drumline met to mark the occasion.
Todd Fortner, President and CEO TVFCU told us, “This headquarter building is 18,000 square feet. And on the second floor of the building, we have administrative staff, we have 35 to 40 folks in the Dalton Area that are going to serve in administrative roles for TVFCU. The first floor is a full-service branch that has all the technology. And the people that we have in our Chattanooga area… and the Dalton community has been really terrific about welcoming TVFCU. We’ re thrilled to be a part of this community and look to serve this area for decades to come.”
This location will serve as the headquarters for all of North Georgia
