CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) –The CHATT Foundation received a surprise donation today.
Today, a vehicle from Renewal by Andersen arrived at the Chatt Foundation on East 11th Street
This comes following an employee food drive at the company.
The company said that this reinforced a shared commitment to community care and social responsibility
CHATT Foundation stands for The Center for Homeless Advancement for Today and Tomorrow. It used to be known at the Chattanooga Community Kitchen.
Baron King, the CEO of the CHATT Foundation told us, “Out of the blue we received a great food donation from Renewal by Andersen. We live for the donations from our community, and we love getting surprised this way. We serve 153,000 meals a year. That’s 3 meals a day, 365 days a year, and without resources like this, people literally will go hungry, so this is huge.”
The CHATT Foundation is always accepting donations of non-perishable food, clothing, and basic necessities.
