HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp is planning to run for re-election.
Mayor Wamp sent out an email stating:
“In just over a week, on Labor Day, I’ll be announcing plans to run for re-election as Hamilton County Mayor.“
The announcement will take place On September 1, 2025, at Chester Frost during the Wamp Family Labor Day Picnic.
The picnic is set to kickoff at 5:30 p.m.
U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn and Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs are both expected to attend.
Anyone wishing to attend the event can do so free of charge, but must RSVP in advance.
