CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- A Chattanooga nightclub has been sanctioned for the third time this year by the Chattanooga Beer Board. The Dream on Glass Street has had a series of issues dating back to December 2024.
A shooting had occurred inside the club then injuring one person.
Afterwards, a shootout occurred outside of the club in January that was caught on camera, which also injured one.
Despite having their beer license suspended twice for these incidents, the club have found themselves again in front of the Beer Board due to a fight that occurred on their premises in May.
The Beer Board’s hearing attorney found they did not properly report that incident.
Board members wondered if they could use the upcoming Labor Day holiday to send a message.
Brooke Barclift said, “It’s a big drinking holiday, just something to consider if we can start the suspension then…. This has been multiple, multiple violations, so it’s a stern, challenging, difficult punishment. It would hopefully get a point across.”
The Dream’s beer license will be suspended for two weeks beginning on August 29th, which includes the holiday weekend.
