Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) If you’re looking for a way to beat the heat this weekend, downtown Chattanooga has you covered.
The Chatt Town Cool Down kicks off Saturday along the riverfront, offering splash zones, cooling stations, and plenty of food for families to enjoy.
Organizers say the event is all about staying cool while bringing the community together.
“Because it’s a free, family-friendly event, you can try a bunch of different stuff,” said Gail Barille with Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors. “All the families I talk to say they can’t get to it all in one day, so they have to come back next year to keep trying what new programs we have and activities for participants.”
The Chatt Town Cool Down is free and open to everyone this Saturday.
