GRUNDY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Grundy County authorities are asking for the public’s help after putting out two suspicious fires.
The first incident occurred on August 17, 2025 at 7:39 p.m.
The Palmer Fire Department (PFD) responded to a structure fire involving a fifth wheel camper.
Upon arrival, crews found the camper fully engulfed in flames.
PFD extinguished the fire and the cause is currently under investigation.
At 2:27 a.m., August 18, PFD crews responded to another structure fire involving a single story home near Palmer Market and Big Mine Road.
Upon arrival, crews found the home almost fully engulfed in flames.
PFD said the fire was extinguished and the investigation into the cause is ongoing.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the conviction of the person or persons responsible.
