CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Remote Area Medical (RAM®) is hosting its first-ever Living the Giving telethon today, Tuesday, July 29, from 2 to 10 P.M. Eastern Time.
The event will stream live across all of RAM’s social media platforms in celebration of the organization’s 40 years of providing free medical, dental, and vision care to underserved communities across the United States.
The telethon will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes content, including interviews with patients and volunteers, stories from the field, and special appearances by RAM staff.
It’s designed to give viewers an inside look at how the nonprofit operates, and the incredible impact it has made over four decades.
As an added incentive, donors will be entered into hourly prize drawings throughout the event.
RAM hopes the livestream will not only raise critical funds but also bring greater awareness to its mission of delivering free, high-quality healthcare to those who need it most.
