CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A Chattanooga family is sounding the alarm after their 2-year-old Presa Canario, Saint, was allegedly stolen right from their yard.
Sydne-Joie Noel says the incident happened on Tuesday, July 22nd around 10 a.m., just ten minutes after they let Saint outside.
The family believes this was a premeditated act, someone had likely been watching their property and waiting for the right moment to take him.
What’s more disturbing is that this isn’t an isolated case. Large breed dogs like Saint, especially Mastiff types such as Presa Canarios, Cane Corsos, and Great Danes, are increasingly being targeted across the country.
They’re often stolen to be resold or used in unregulated breeding operations.
The Noels have been searching nonstop, desperate to bring their boy home.
But they’re also hoping their story can raise awareness and help protect other families from experiencing the same heartbreak.
