CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A 15-year-old male has been arrested in connection with a shooting on Arlington Avenue Tuesday.
On July 22, 2025, at 6:59 p.m., officers with the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) responded to a person shot call in the 1100 block of Arlington Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they located the 14-year-old male victim who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
He was taken to a local hospital for further treatment.
CPD’s Homicide Unit, Crime Scene Unit, and K-9 Team also responded to the scene to conduct an investigation.
CPD says the suspect was quickly identified, located, and interviewed.
He’s now in custody and is being charged with Felony Reckless Endangerment, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
The investigation into the cause of the shooting is ongoing.
