WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) uncovered, what they’re calling, one of the largest drug busts in Whitfield County history.
On July 15, 2025, detectives with WCSO’s Narcotics division conducted an undercover drug operation following a month-long investigation.
As a result, WSCO said they seized the following:
- 201 grams of Fentanyl
- 3,060 grams of Marijuana
- 39 grams of Methamphetamine
- 28 grams of Cocaine
This operation also led to the arrest of known gang member Alan Sias.
Sias is being charged with the following:
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
- Possession of Cocaine
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
- Trafficking Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)
- Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)
- Trafficking in Opium of a Derivative (Fentanyl)
- Possession and Use of Drug-Related Objects
- Possession of Tools for the Commission of a Crime
- Sale of Marijuana
“This amount of Fentanyl is enough to kill over 100,000 people. If you deal drugs in Whitfield County, you will be arrested.”
