News 12 This Morning: Retired U.S. Navy Captain Mickey McCamish joins News 12’s Chip Chapman to invite the public to pay their respects to the Fallen Five on the 10th anniversary of the fatal attack in Chattanooga.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Five brave servicemen were killed in a domestic terror attack on July 16, 2015. Now, the Chattanooga community continues to remember their sacrifice a decade later.
Sergeant Carson Allen Louis Holmquist (USMC), Logistics Specialist Second Class Randall Scott Smith (NAVY), Staff Sergeant David Allen Wyatt (USMC), Lance Corporal Squire Kimpton Paul “Skip” Wells (USMC), and Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Joseph Sullivan (USMC), are remembered as the ‘Fallen Five.’
A ceremony will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025 on the 10th anniversary of the attack to pay respects and keep their memory alive.
The tribute will start at 11:00 a.m., around the same time the attack happened 10 years ago.
