CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A house fire in East Lake was quickly extinguished by Chattanooga firefighters Tuesday.
At 2:51 p.m., July 15, 2025, crews with the Chattanooga Fire Department (CFD) were dispatched to the 1900 block of East 25th Street Place.
Firefighters were able to see smoke on their way to the scene.
Upon arrival, CFD found the front of the home engulfed in flames and all occupants outside the residence.
CFD said crews had the fire under control in less than 20 minutes.
No injuries were reported from the fire.
CFD also said the cause was an accidental kitchen fire.
