Chattanooga, TN (WDEF)- Chattanooga Football Club is teaming up with the Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center this Independence Day weekend to celebrate patriotism on and off the field.
The Heritage Center will be the featured nonprofit during Saturday night’s match at Finley Stadium. For every $15 ticket purchased through the Center’s website, $5 will go directly to support its mission—educating the public and preserving the stories of Medal of Honor recipients.
“This collaboration has been in the works for six or seven months,” said Kenny Turpen, Director of Development at the Heritage Center. “It’s been a long conversation about how our organizations align, how we want to represent each other in this city, and finally we were able to find a way to work together on something really special to honor veterans and come together for this match.”
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Saturday night. Tickets benefiting the Heritage Center can be purchased at www.mohhc.org/CFC
